Psychosexual Therapy
Sexual difficulties can affect anyone at any stage of life and can have a significant impact on confidence, relationships, and wellbeing. My aim is to support you in experiencing sexuality as a natural, meaningful, and integrated part of who you are — focusing on connection, pleasure, and wellbeing rather than pressure, performance, or cultural expectations. Where appropriate, we may also consider whether medical advice or GP support would be helpful as part of your therapy.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to explore your experiences, beliefs, and feelings about sex and intimacy. As therapy develops, we may gently explore the patterns, relational dynamics, and unconscious ‘scripts’ that shape how you relate to yourself.
I work with individuals and couples, supporting a wide range of sexual and relational concerns, including:
– Difficulties with desire or arousal
– Painful sex (including vaginismus or vulval pain)
– Erection, ejaculation, or orgasm difficulties
– Differences in libido within relationships
– Anxiety, avoidance, or fear related to sex
– Sexual shame or identity concerns
– Compulsive sexual behaviours
– The impact of trauma or abuse
– Changes in sexuality linked to menopause, ageing, or illness
– Gender and sexual diversity
– Concerns about sexual pleasure, health, and wellbeing
Relationship Therapy
Relationships can be deeply fulfilling, yet they can also become one of the most challenging parts of our lives. Couples often seek therapy during times of transition, disconnection, or quiet loneliness — even within loving relationships.
You may be finding it difficult to communicate, feeling emotionally or physically distant, or carrying unresolved hurt following experiences. Some couples feel stuck or unsure how to move forward, while others want support to strengthen their connection.
I offer a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space to explore these difficulties. I work with individuals and couples, supporting deeper understanding, improved communication, and the rebuilding of trust and connection.
I work with a range of relational concerns, including:
– Desire discrepancy or mismatched libido
– Infidelity or affairs
– Communication difficulties
– Sexual issues within relationships
– Exploring non-monogamy
– Fertility challenges
– Intimate partner violence (where appropriate and safe)
