Relationship Counselling

Relationships can bring deep fulfilment, but they can also become one of the most challenging parts of our lives.

You may be finding it difficult to communicate, feel a growing distance between you and your partner or be struggling with unresolved hurt and resentment. At times, changes such as infidelity, illness, grief, or shifting life goals can also leave you feeling lost, disconnected, or uncertain about the future. You might also be considering separation or simply be feeling stuck and unsure where to turn.

I will work with you to explore these challenges in a supportive and non-judgmental space.

Together, we might focus on improving communication, deepening understanding, and rebuilding trust and connection. Through dialogue, my hope is that you will feel sufficiently equipped to work through conflict and develop new ways of relating to one another — creating a deeper, stronger and resilient partnership.

I welcome and support all couples, respecting and affirming diverse sexual orientations, gender identities, diverse cultural and relational stylesMy role is to help each partner reflect on both their personal and shared challenges and find a more balanced, compassionate and authentic way forward.

While psychosexual therapy often focuses on specific sexual difficulties, relationship counselling takes a broader view — exploring patterns of communication, emotional connection, and the overall health of the relationship.

How we might explore:

In our sessions, we would work collaboratively to understand what is happening between you and your partner and identify what each of you needs to feel more connected and supported.

Sessions may include:

  • Exploring recurring patterns of conflict or misunderstanding
  • Learning tools to improve communication and emotional expression
  • Developing empathy and active listening skills
  • Rebuilding trust after conflict or betrayal
  • Strengthening emotional and physical intimacy
  • Clarifying shared values, goals, and boundaries

Whether you attend alone or with your partner, the focus is on creating a respectful space where voices can be heard and where positive change becomes possible.
